NBA Opening Week, Artificial Intelligence, and Christmas Day Blowouts

It felt like so long but the NBA is finally back. The Lakers got their rings on opening night, with awesome messages from their families. They lost their first game of the season as most reigning champs do, but bounced back against the Mavericks on Christmas Day. None of the Christmas Day games were competitive, but the stars shined like they should. Giannis Antetokoumpo, Khris Middleton, Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Jayson Tatum, Paul George, Nikola Jokic, and Jamal Murray all showed why they are the cream of the crop in the league.

Anthony Edwards made his debut for the Timberwolves, with 2 impressive performances in his first 2 games. James Wiseman has used 2 Warriors blowouts to show off his skillset. LaMelo Ball struggled in his first game, but showed off his scoring ability in game 2. Other rookies that have stood out in their first few games are Patrick Williams (12.5 ppg) for the Bulls and Precious Achiuwa (9.5 ppg) for the Heat.

FixdPicks had some good days and some bad days. As the season gets going there is going to be a lot more fluctuation than normal. The stats will begin to balance out and that is when our superior win % and A.I. will prevail. Even with the lack of stats at the beginning of the season, here is how we've done so far:

HOT PICKS: 25-27 (ADD 12/27)
