Algo got right back on track yesterday going 4-1 on the picks I blogged about yesterday. There are only 2 hot/warm picks today. But we are looking to make it two good days in a row.
Rockets @ Hornets - Hot Pick, Under 219.5
7 of the Hornets last 8 games have gone under 219.5. But they haven't played an offense like Houston's. The Rockets haven't had a total under 219.5 in 19 games. This seems concerning except that Russell Westbrook and Eric Gordon are both sitting out tonight. The Hornets seem to have a way to stifle these great teams. Hopefully they can slow down Houston's small ball with PJ Tucker playing center.
Kings @ Blazers - Warm Pick, Over 231.5
These teams are in a race for the 8th seed in the Western Conference. With the season winding down, every game is important. You'd think that means that defenses will be playing at a higher intensity. Not with Portland and Sacramento. Both teams give up over 110 points per game, and score over 108 points per game. Damian Lillard is back to frustrating opposing defenses, and trying to do everything he can to carry the Blazers to the playoffs. This game should be a fun, competitive, high scoring affair.
