Happy March! Hopefully the madness isn't just in college basketball this year. Let's make some magic in the NBA.

Lakers @ Pelicans - Warm Pick, Over 234

This is an interesting pick by Algo. In the three previous meetings these teams only went over 234 once and it was only by 2 points. Lebron is back from missing a game and Zion is staying healthy so this game should be entertaining. If it hits the over it will be one of the most fun games of the year considering the style of play of both of these teams. The Pelicans play super fast and the Lakers have no problem with that. Cue highlights of Lebron, Anthony Davis, and Zion Williamson dunks.

Raptors @ Nuggets - Hot Pick, Over 216

A matchup of two of the best teams in the NBA looks like an easy over based on statistics. Each of these teams average over 110 points per game, so logically this should hit. The Nuggets are extremely fun to watch at home where they are 23-7, but the Raptors are 19-8 on the road so this should be a close one. The Raptors have won 17 out of their last 20 and the Nuggets are 6-3 in their last nine. Nikola Jokic and Pascal Siakam both started in their first All-Star games this year, deservedly so. I would tune in just to watch them go at it.

Mavericks @ Timberwolves - Warm Pick, Over 243

One of the higher lines that you'll see from Vegas for an NBA game. But, Algo says even though it's high we are taking the over. Considering the Timberwolves have given up over 126 points in each of their last 5 games, this seems like the right play. They played the Mavericks less than a week ago and gave up 139 points, while scoring 123 themselves. With Luka Doncic orchestrating for the Mavs, and D'Angelo Russell for the Wolves, this should be another high scoring affair. The Wolves are bad at home but since the trade deadline have been having much more competitive games.

Bucks @ Hornets - Hot Pick, Under 219

Algo is up to something here, he must know something we don't. The Bucks are the highest scoring team in the NBA. The Hornets are 30th in scoring and only 13th in defense. In their previous meetings neither game would have hit under 219. But, there is a reason the line is set so low and a reason Algo chose the under. Charlotte has won 5 out of their last 7, but when they lose it isn't pretty. If they can keep it close against Giannis and the Bucks the under has a chance. It would also help them if Khris Middleton, the Bucks second leading scorer, didn't play. He is listed as day-to-day, could have a big effect on the total for this game.
