A solid 3-3 night yesterday for FixdPicks through the first 2 games of the NBA restart. If New Orleans hadn't blown a 16-point lead to Utah we would have gone 5-1.

Today's Games of the Day:

Grizzlies vs Trail Blazers

Major seeding implications with this game. Expect both teams to come out with a real competitive spirit. The Blazers made the Western Conference finals last year and want to follow it up by showing they are the real deal. The Grizzlies on the other hand, led by Rookie of the Year to-be Ja Morant, are trying to make a name for themselves in the loaded West. The point guard matchup of Morant vs Damian Lillard will be fun to watch.

Celtics vs Bucks

The cream of the crop in the Eastern Conference. Giannis and the Bucks are here on a revenge tour to make the NBA Finals. The Celtics have the talent and coaching to make noise but Milwaukee is just too good on both sides of the ball. This should be a competitive and entertaining game with stars like Giannis and Jayson Tatum on the floor.

Rockets vs Mavericks

Another game in the Western Conference that could shake up the standings. Both of these teams want to climb as high as possible during these "seeding games" so that their first round matchup is as easy as possible. They all know that after that, nothing is easy in the West. Russell Westbrook was late to the bubble so there might be a bit of an adjustment Houston needs to make. On the other hand, Luka Doncic and the Mavs have looked great during their scrimmages. This is one of the games that has 4 superstars on the court at once. There will be a lot of offense in this one with James Harden, Westbrook, Doncic, and Kristaps Porzingis.
